Summarized transcript w/ Fin (tl;dv)
February 28, 2025, 03:42-03:46 PM (WET/GMT+0000)
Fin: Hi there! This is a bot speaking. I'm here to answer your questions.
Fin: If you're not around when we reply, you'll get an email. You can expect a response within 48 hours.
Fin: So what brings you here today?
Tyler: I want to save chat transcripts also
Fin: To save chat transcripts, you can copy them to your clipboard. Open the transcript tab, hover over the transcript area, and click the copy button. For a quicker way to capture important moments, try using the pin icon (📌).
Fin: Was that helpful?
Tyler: Not helpful, I want tldv to automatically save the chat transcript every meeting and use it to help with the summary
Fin: We don't currently have a feature to automatically save chat transcripts. However, we offer auto-recording and auto-summarization. You can enable auto-recording in your preferences. For AI-generated summaries, you can upgrade to our Pro plan. We also have a Zapier integration for automatic upload of recordings.
Fin: Was that helpful?
Tyler: Not helpful, I want that feature to be added. If tldv is watching for "pins" it can watch for everything and I want it to capture and save all of the chat transcript
Fin: I understand you'd like to automatically capture chat transcripts. Currently, we don't have this feature. Alternatives include auto-recording, highlighting moments with pins, AI summaries (Pro plan), and Zapier integration. I'll pass your suggestion to our product team.
Fin: Was that helpful?
Tyler: I'd like someone to follow up to confirm that my feedback will be passed to the product team
Fin: You can submit your suggestion directly on our Feature request page (https://tldv.canny.io/feature-requests). This ensures your idea is logged and visible to our product team.
Fin: Was that helpful?
Tyler: Yes that was helpful and you should have provided that first
Fin: I'm glad that was helpful! Let me know if there's anything else I can assist you with! 😊

The chat log should be integrated with the transcript, so we know when someone put something in the chat text as the participants are speaking; embedded within the transcript is where the chat text should appear. I will probably not want to use tl;dv until this feature is added.

Received this comment from a team member: "Is there a way to see the chat in these calls? If not, its a pretty large limitation for asynchronously participating in these calls."

I hope there's still an option to capture the chats. Keep the highlights as is, but another display for the chats.
