Dear tl;dv Team,
I am a regular user of tl;dv and truly appreciate the product’s powerful meeting recording and transcription capabilities.
I am writing to suggest adding Traditional Chinese (繁體中文) as a supported language for the platform interface — not just for transcription, but for the full UI experience including menus, summaries, and notifications.
There is a large and growing community of tl;dv users in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and among Traditional Chinese-speaking professionals worldwide. Currently, while tl;dv supports transcription in many languages, the platform interface itself is not available in Traditional Chinese, which creates a barrier for non-English speakers in these markets.
Simplified Chinese (简体中文) and Traditional Chinese are distinct written forms — users in Taiwan and Hong Kong specifically use Traditional Chinese, so simply adding Simplified Chinese would not fully address this need.
Adding Traditional Chinese UI support would:
• Significantly lower the barrier to entry for a large untapped user base
• Strengthen tl;dv’s competitiveness in the Asia-Pacific market
• Improve overall user experience and retention for existing Traditional Chinese-speaking users
I hope the team will consider this as a priority for an upcoming release. Thank you for building such a great product, and I look forward to seeing it grow.
Best regards
